Natural Lullabies has been offering childbirth classes and doula services for 11 years in Tulsa, OK. Between 2003 and 2009, Natural Lullabies operated retail/classes business that was located in two locations in South Tulsa. In May 2012, Natural Lullabies teamed up with Ruth Cobb, Certified Nurse Midwife, to open Tulsa’s only birth center, Special Delivery Birth Center.
Melissa Cameron (Morrill), Owner – Melissa has a strong love and passion for birth mixed in with her almost 10 years of experience. Starting Natural Lullabies after the birth of her first son, was fueled out of her desire to empower others to know their options during birth combined with her desire to remain connected to her children and create an environment where she could work and have her children close by. She has taught more than 500 families childbirth classes and has attended more than 150 births over the years. Melissa has also been teaching prenatal yoga (and regular yoga) since 2005. In 2008, Melissa developed her own childbirth class curriculum called Pure Birth and has been teaching it ever since. She is a co-owner of the I AM Yoga, Art + Music Festival, Mindful Media Tulsa (multi-media), and Events & The City (event planning).
Personally, she has a love for yoga, meditation, mindful living, motivational speaking, and and has been blessed to give birth to three amazing sons. You can find out more about Melissa on her personal website.
